About Connor

Connor Petula is a dedicated pianist and composer from the South-central Pennsylvania area. From an early age, Connor took an immense interest in the fine arts, going on to commit to music as a career after listening to the Red Garland trio for the first time.  As a high schooler, Connor was chosen to play in several selective ensembles, including being picked as the pianist for the 2024 PMEA All-State Jazz Ensemble and twice as the pianist for the Central Pennsylvania Big Band All-Stars, a Harrisburg-based youth ensemble led by West Chester University’s Director of Jazz Studies Jonathan Ragonese. He is currently pursuing a major in music education at West Chester University with a minor in jazz studies. Aside from music, Connor enjoys distance running, juggling, and spending time with friends and family.
